Listening to live music under the summer sun—or stars—top the list of favorite outdoor activities. Perfect for making memories with friends and family, young and old, outdoor concerts abound in the Conejo Valley this summer, providing plenty of opportunities to get your groove on and move to the music.

Music Under the Stars

For the 30th year running, the beloved Olivas Adobe features Saturday night (July 9-Sept. 3) performances by talented entertainers for a night of summer dancing under the stars. Ventura County’s only remaining Monterey-style adobe home from the Rancho era, Olivas Adobe is California Historical Landmark No. 115. Guests will enjoy the beautiful grounds and boogying the night away (7:30-9:30 p.m.) on the historic majestic wooden ballroom floor. Bring a picnic or enjoy gourmet food truck treats. Presented by the City of Ventura Cultural Affairs Division, Music Under the Stars at Olivas Adobe, 4200 Olivas Park Drive, near Ventura Harbor, begins at 6:30 p.m. for dining. Tiny Porch Concerts

The nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation, Tiny Porch Concerts promotes live, original music in unique and rural settings like the National Park Service’s Peter Strauss Ranch, at 30000 Mulholland Highway in Agoura Hills. The free concert series from 5 to 7 p.m. raises donations for the Santa Monica Mountain Conservancy Fund for National Parks projects, including the wild animal crossing at Liberty Canyon. Sun Sets Summer Concert Series
