Oaks Christian School is a nondenominational, co-ed, college-preparatory school serving Grades 5 through 12. The high school was founded in 2000. In 2009, the middle school moved into a new building, allowing growth for both the middle school and the high school. The school is committed to the promotion of academic excellence, artistic expression and athletic distinction within the context of Christian values and leadership development.
An impressive 100% of graduates receive college admission, often to highly selective, top-tier schools. Forty-one percent of graduates will attend highly selective colleges as defined by schools that admit 30% or less of the students who apply. These schools include, but are not limited to, Boston College, Cornell, Dartmouth, NYU, Northwestern, Notre Dame, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton, Stanford, the U.S. Air Force Academy and more.
Collectively, the Class of 2017 earned $6.5 million in college scholarships and aid and performed over 15,000 hours of community service in nine countries and California, partnering with organizations such as The American Cancer Society, James Storehouse Foundation and Children of the Nations. Oaks Christian students, in all grades, have amazing opportunities to participate in educational and mission trips. Each year, over 200 students travel to various parts of the globe to teach English, build houses, visit orphans, conduct medical clinics, explore science opportunities, visit European art capitals and share the Christian message of love and hope. Over the years, students have had opportunities to serve in countries such as China, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Haiti, India, Uganda and many more.

Additionally, both the middle school and the high school feature a state-of-the-art Makerspace Innovation Lab where students are introduced to a variety of problem-solving, hands-on activities that foster design thinking and engineering activities. Students work in the Makerspace on a regular basis throughout the year, and the STEM projects they complete allow them to further develop critical thinking skills, while working collaboratively with their peers solving real-world problems.
The middle school also features the Quest Space Program. The students work on designs for experiments that were sent to the International Space Station as part of a unique partnership with the Quest Institute. The program, along with the high school robotics and 3D printing programs, is designed to support a national initiative to advance STEM disciplines in education, preparing students for careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
