The new Athletic Society in Westlake Village offers the very best in fitness, sports and health, including a wide variety of over 400 different classes—dance, cardio, strength training, boot camp-style, yoga, spin/cycle, aqua and Pilates—in addition to nutrition coaching, recovery, childcare, massage and personal training.
“We are more than just a gym,” says Marketing Manager Chyla Anderson. “We provide a complete fitness experience, which will continue to broaden and grow as we rebuild from what the former club used to be.”
Creating a one-stop shop for the best of fitness, sports, rejuvenation and community at the former Spectrum Club location has involved many upgrades, from much-needed repairs to the pool, roof and HVAC, to major renovations.
“We’re building a brand new Kids Club, group fitness room and spin room! We’re also bringing in new equipment as well as a state-of-the-art functional training center with heart-rate-monitored small group training classes,” adds Anderson.
With an emphasis on helping people of all ages and levels attain their fitness goals, the Athletic Society team brings experience gained from a long history of managing health clubs to the Conejo Valley.
“Our founders have been in executive roles for several national brands and have owned and operated several other brands both nationally and internationally. We know what works and what people want, and we’re excited to bring that to the Conejo Valley community,” Anderson says.
Exercise newbies and gurus alike are invited to find their niche at the new Athletic Society.
“We cater to not only the health-conscious, but to those who may be at the beginning of their fitness journey,” adds Anderson. “Whether you are into classes, lifting or swimming, we provide an elite fitness experience which will help you to reach your goals and maintain your lifestyle.”
The club’s membership comprises a unique blend of an existing community that has been growing roots in the location throughout the years and new members.
“We enjoy giving people the means to reach their goals and live an optimal healthy lifestyle,” says Anderson, noting that clients and potential new members should stay tuned for information about upcoming pop-up events to be hosted at the Athletic Society.
“In addition to offering all of the boutique/studio amenities that everyone loves in one place, we will also be bringing Gentera Center for Regenerative Medicine into this club, which will specialize in everything from bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and PRP facials, to IV drip therapy.”
