Ladin Subaru Shares the Love with Senior Concerns
For the fifth consecutive year, Ladin Subaru is partnering with Senior Concerns on the Share the Love Campaign. The campaign gives Subaru customers the opportunity to select a charity to which a donation of $250 from every vehicle sale will be donated. Local Subaru dealers also select one community-based nonprofit to support.
Join Ladin Subaru in supporting Senior Concerns and local seniors at the annual Love Run, Sunday, June 2 in Westlake Village. The Love Run provides funding for Senior Concerns’ Meals On Wheels Program and ensures homebound seniors in Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park have access to freshly prepared, nutritionally balanced meals 365 days per year through home delivery by a team of dedicated volunteer drivers.
“The generous support of Ladin Subaru and Subaru of America comes at a truly vital time when we are seeing a growing need for services to help support the seniors and family caregivers in the community. We cannot do the work we do without the generous support of folks like the team from Ladin Subaru,” says Andrea Gallagher, President of Senior Concerns. LoveRunWestlake.com

The Santa Monica Mountains Fund Spring Celebration in Calabasas takes place Sunday, June 9,⋅5 to 7 p.m. at Anthony C. Beilenson Interagency Visitors Center at King Gillette Ranch, 26800 Mulholland Hwy, in Calabasas. Come celebrate the renewal and rebirth in the mountains, where the Woolsey Fire raged last November, destroying 88% of the National Park Service land within the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. The fire wiped out miles of trails, wildlife habitat, Western Town at Paramount Ranch, multiple ranger houses, the Rocky Oaks archives building and more. The road to recovery is a long and difficult journey, but progress is being made. The glorious green hillsides and wild flowers after the rain offer hope at a difficult time. Event features small plates, drinks, music and a silent auction.
Ranger-guided tours at Paramount Ranch or Rancho Sierra Vista/Satwiwa before the event, starting at 3 p.m. include a short walk and talk, taking in the views and learning the rich history of the sites. A $100 donation ($82.50 tax deductible) reserves your spot. SAMOFund.org/Spring-Celebration
