New West Symphony Launches 25th Anniversary
The New West Symphony wowed a sold-out crowd at the debut of their new West Ventura County home, Rancho Campana Performing Arts Center in Camarillo. Launching its 25th anniversary and inaugural season of music director GRAMMY®-winner Michael Christie, the Symphony brought the crowd to its feet with the dramatic fantasy Scheherazade. The stunning, $20 million, 27,500-square-foot venue with state-of-the-art acoustics was a perfect setting for the Symphony’s innovative and improvisational variation on Gershwin with the famed Marcus Roberts Trio.
