Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County celebrated a Chardonnay/Zinfandel wine challenge at the Sherwood Lake Club. Pledges from Conejo Valley community attendees came to enough for at least seven "Littles" to be matched with their "Bigs."

OBOL Blankets Homeless Pets with Comfort

Operation Blankets of Love Founder, Eileen Smulson, and her certified therapy dog, Ginger, lead the charge to help homeless animals find forever homes through outreach and education. The award-winning nonprofit animal welfare and emergency relief organization brings blankets and supplies to shelters, rescue groups and pets of the homeless.

Rotary Youth Rally for K9s for Warriors

Rotary Youth to Save Our Soldiers completed its 3rd annual event run by Interacters from CVUSD high schools at Cal Lutheran. It benefits K9s for Warriors, a nonprofit that trains service dogs for veterans who come home with PTSD. The day included talks about PTSD, live music and more.
