National Charity League Honors Debutantes for Community Service 7

The Conejo Valley Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. (NCL) honored 14 debutantes for their philanthropic endeavors and community service at the 36th Annual NCL Ball. The event took place in the Grand Ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village. Collectively, the 2017 NCL class has contributed over 4,000 community service hours to local philanthropies.

National Charity League, Inc. is a nonprofit organization of mothers and daughters in Grades 7-12 who work together to provide community service in chapters throughout the United States. The purpose is to foster a sense of community responsibility in the girls as well as to strengthen the mother-daughter relationship through participation in philanthropy, leadership activities and cultural events.

The Conejo Valley Chapter supports 21 local nonprofits, including Therapeutic Recreation, Manna Conejo Valley Food Bank, Casa Pacifica, Many Mansions, Senior Concerns, Los Robles Regional Medical Center and Operation Gratitude, as well as provides scholarships to deserving high school graduates.
