The New West Symphony opened its 24th season with a 120th birthday Rhapsody in Blue salute to George Gershwin featuring opera star turned chanteuse Sylvia McNair and a master of the music of Gershwin, pianist Kevin Cole. The New West Symphony, our local cultural treasure and their world class guest artists were magnificent.
